The Miami Hurricanes face the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

When Mark Richt took over the Miami Hurricanes, the hope was that he’d return them to prominence. That didn’t totally happen in his first year in Coral Gables. However, there is reason to believe that it will start to occur in Year 2. That quest will begin at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday as the Canes welcome the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats to town.

Malik Rosier will be at quarterback for Miami to start the season, replacing the now departed Brad Kaaya. Rosier may actually be an upgrade over Kaaya, a player that failed to reach his potential in college. Meanwhile, Mark Walton returns at running back and could be in for a massive year helping to shoulder the offensive workload.

As for the Wildcats, it’s hard to say they stand much of a chance against Miami. They were riddled with injuries last season, a season in which they finished a meager 4-6. There’s talent at certain spots, but not at the level that the Hurricanes will be able to trot out.
