Week 1 of the college football season left everyone with plenty of memes. The Texas Longhorns and several others made sure of it.

Outside of a few battles, the first week of the college football season is in the books. There was plenty of excitement on the first day of the college football weekend and two heavyweights clashed in Atlanta.

Just the fact that college football is back is certainly a reason for everyone to celebrate. While the focus should always be on the big highlights, it’s always good to find the humor in what happens on the field as well.

1. Deondre “Cam Newton” Francois

Yes, the Internet absolutely fell in love with the fact that Florida State Seminoles quarterback Deondre Francois bears a remarkable resemblance to that of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

A perfect still shot made Francois look just like the NFL quarterback and now that is probably going to follow him for the rest of his college career. Unfortunately on the serious side of things, he went down with a leg injury in the game.
