Is Rick and Morty new tonight, September 3? Fans of the Adult Swim series will be getting a dose of Rick and Morty for the holiday weekend, but not in the usual way.
Since this weekend is Labor Day weekend, Adult Swim is not showing a new episode of Rick and Morty season 3 this Sunday. But don’t despair — you can still get schwifty, because the network has chosen to use the airtime for a catch-up marathon.
They will air every episode of Rick and Morty season 3 starting at 11 p.m. ET on September 3. That’s a half hour earlier than the show’s usual time slot, so set your DVR and/or pick up your plumbus accordingly.
But you’ll be able to rewatch all of the great moments that have aired this season so far, from Pickle Rick to Morty getting a little too attached to his homicidal arm, to the Vindicators and the extra special Rick and Jerry episode.
And if you still need something else to do after that, you can check out our behind the scenes interviews with Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, and Sarah Chalke and Spencer Grammer, about all the craziness that’s still to come in the rest of season 3.
New episodes of Rick and Morty season 3 return next Sunday, September 10. Maybe by then Rick will turn himself into some other vegetable, Morty will have filled up his “Morty Adventure Card” again, and Jerry will have found something to do with his life…oh, who are we kidding, this is Jerry.
