UCLA Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen is able to pull off a ridiculous comeback versus the Texas A&M Aggies, finding Jordan Lasley for the game-winning score.
Look who’s laughing now. After getting steamrolled in the first half by 38-10 by the Texas A&M Aggies, the UCLA Bruins are able to mount a comeback for the ages. Thanks to a furious fourth quarter by quarterback Josh Rosen, UCLA was able to stun the Aggies, 45-44 in Week 1.
UCLA outscored the Aggies 35-6 in the second half to win this unbelievable ball game. Credit Rosen for his elite execution of the hurry-up offense in the final frame. The UCLA pass rush was able to get to true freshman quarterback Kellen Mond, who could not be more overwhelmed.
The play that won it for the Bruins was a sweet 10-yard touchdown pass from Rosen to receiver Jordan Lasley at the back of the end zone. Rosen put the ball where only Lasley could get it to mount this sensational comeback for the Bruins.

This fourth-quarter display by Rosen is why he is garnering so much hype as a top-five pick in the 2017 NFL Draft should he leave school a year early. Rosen is a true junior, but could enter the upcoming draft if he feels so inclined.
His passing ability is top-notch, as long as he is not being thrown around like a rag doll behind a porous offensive line. Admittedly, it was tough at first to see Rosen be hit so often early in this game. However, Texas A&M does have one of the better pass rushing units in the SEC.

This was a game that UCLA had no business winning. They were so far out of it, there was almost no chance of overcoming that 28-point hole at the half. Could this be the spark that UCLA needs to have a special season with Rosen in the ‘gun?
