Exactly 25 years after getting cancelled by ABC, David Lynch has another shot at closing the books on Twin Peaks. Here’s how to watch the finale online.

Anyone who watched the original Twin Peaks either when it was on or after the fact recognized how it changed television forever. The revival 25 years later has served a similar purpose, as David Lynch has been bending the rules of TV seemingly every week. Part 8 is an episode that will be studied in film classes years from now, while this season’s home stretch has been throwing one curveball after another.

While the Roadhouse has served the purpose of closing out most episodes with a musical guest, the ending to Part 16 hinted that it may play a bigger role in the narrative than we may have thought. Whether it’s some sort of purgatory or an alternate dimension, Audrey Horne woke up as soon as somebody broke her out of her trance.

If The Return has been effective at anything, it’s making us question what we initially saw in the original series. They could do that again by (hopefully?) revealing the true nature of the Roadhouse.

Here’s the synopsis for The Return: Parts 17 and 18, according to TV Guide:

"The past dictates the future; What is your name?"

So where can you catch tonight’s episodes of Twin Peaks and when will all of the action go down? We have all the information you need to know right here so you don’t miss a second of the action.

Next: All live stream info in one place

Date: Sunday, September 3
Start Time: 8 p.m. ET
Episode: “The Return”
TV Channel: Showtime
Live Stream: Stream 1 | Stream 2

If the synopsis is hinting at anything, it’s that the finale will flash back to the original series — which they’ve done in the past — while somebody will go through a sort of identity crisis. Given all the doppelgangers in this season, there’s been no shortage of identity crises, and it’ll all come to a head when the two Coopers converge on Twin Peaks.
