James Washington

WR, Oklahoma State

A hernia certainly isn’t going to slow down James Washington it appears. The Oklahoma State wide receiver picked up right where he left off against Tulsa at home in his school’s opening blowout victory on Thursday.

Washington finished the day with 145 yards on just six receptions. While the receptions were down on the day, he made the most of it every time he got the football in his hands. He finished with two touchdown’s and averaged a whopping 24.2 yards per reception.

A 77-yard haul proved that even if he’s in pain, he’s hiding it quite well. One of the attributes that people love the most about him is his toughness. He just furthered that narrative with a great start to the 2017 season.

He was on the receiving end of a brilliant performance from Mason Rudolph. The duo is a big reason the Cowboys are going to make a serious run at winning their conference this season. They impressed Week 1.

Up next is a road game against South Alabama. It’s another opportunity for Washington to show off and put up some impressive yards. At the very least, aggression and fury is guaranteed.
