The Calgary Stampeders host the Edmonton Eskimos at McMahon Stadium on Monday, Sept. 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

One point separates the first place Calgary Stampeders and the third place Edmonton Eskimos in the West as their enter their annual provincial rivalry game on Labor Day. After winning seven straight games to start the season, the Eskimos have lost two straight games. After suffering their first loss, the Stampeders have won five straight games.

The Stampeders have not lost at McMahon Stadium since Oct. 10, 2015, when Edmonton won 15-11.  Since that loss, Calgary won 14 straight regular games and two playoff games at McMahon Stadium. On Labor Day, the Stamps will likely lean on Jerome Messam, who leads the league in rushing and touchdowns. Defensively, DeVone Claybrooks’ unit leads the league in scoring, allowing 18.7 points per game. Charleston Hughes and Micah Johnson have 11 combined sacks and will apply pressure to Edmonton quarterback Mike Reilly.

Edmonton has been hit hard by injuries, with 20 players on the six-game injury list this season. LaDarius Perkins started the season as the fourth string running back but stepped up because of injuries. Perkins has 256 yards rushing in his four games as the starter. Injuries along the defensive line forced the Eskimos to trade a second round pick for former Most Outstanding Defensive Player John Chick. Chick only has two sacks this season but is coming off a 14 sack season last year.
