50. Victor Rudd, SF, Maccabi Tel Aviv

Victor Rudd is Europe’s most unstoppable transition force. The 6-foot-9 former South Florida and Delaware 87ers forward has been wrecking rims in Europe for the past two seasons, first with Nizhny Novgorod and then with Maccabi Tel Aviv last season.

Rudd is must-watch when he’s on the floor, only for when Maccabi generates a steal leading to a Rudd alley-oop. There’s never a question of whether that’s going to happen — he’s always there, using Corey Brewer-like anticipation to leak out ahead of the opposing team, and it doesn’t matter what’s in his path. He’ll finish through, around and over anyone at the rim.

Rudd doesn’t offer much else. He’s an improving 3-point shooter, hitting 36.1 percent from the perimeter last year, but he’s not a strong dribbler or passer and his defense is hurt by his enthusiasm for jumping out on the break. He’s probably never going to be much more than a rotation player on a Euroleague team. But he’s one of the league’s most entertaining players and the best dunker outside of the NBA. This is a list of players to watch, and you want eyes on Rudd for his next show-stopping slam.
