Toronto Argonauts vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats live stream: Watch CFL online
By Adam Stocker
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the Toronto Argonauts at Tim Hortons Field on Monday, Sept. 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Tiger-Cats brought themselves and the CFL some unwanted attention after they hired former Baylor head coach Art Briles. However, after fan, media and sponsor outrage, the CFL and the Tiger-Cats agreed that it would be best if Briles did not join the team. It has been an awful week for the franchise, with owner Bob Young and CEO Scott Mitchell doing full damage control.
After starting the season 0-8, head coach Kent Austin resigned to focus on his role as vice-president of football operations. In addition to resigning, Austin is now being sued by Cornell for leaving before the end of his contract. Former Hawaii and SMU head coach June Jones is now the head coach and immediately made the decision to switch quarterbacks. Jeremiah Masoli will start in place of the ineffective Zach Collaros. In 10 games last season for an injured Collaros, Masoli completed 69.2 percent of his passes for 2695 yards and 15 touchdowns. However, Masoli struggled with turnovers, throwing 12 interceptions.

Despite all the distractions, Hamilton hosts their arch-rival the Toronto Argonauts in the Labor Day Classic. The Argos are first in the East, with eight points. Quarterback Ricky Ray is second in the league despite missing a game with an injury. In the season opener, Ray picked apart the Ticats defense for 506 yards in Toronto’s 32-15 win. Ray should be able to again pick apart the Ticats defense that is allowing 38.75 points per game.
