FIFA 18: Top 100 ratings revelation begins with bottom 20 players

EA Sports has begun to reveal the top 100 highest-rated players in FIFA 18 ahead of the game’s release, starting with players 100-81.

FIFA 18 will drop on Sept. 29, bringing new aspects to football (soccer) gamers across the world like four new stadiums. The ratings release that EA Sports will do over the next two weeks is sure to build on the hype as well.

The overall ratings are a combination of individual skill ratings which include Defending, Dribbling, Pace, Passing, Physical and Shooting for forwards, mids and backs, while keepers are rated for Diving, Handling, Kicking, Position, Reflexes and Speed. Among these bottom 20 players in terms of the top 100 overall ratings, those individual skills show a great disparity from one player to the next.

Following are the players no. 81 – no. 100 in the overall ratings, followed by the club the footballer takes the pitch for in the game and their overall rating.

In this group of main players, Mané sets the pace in the Pace rating at 93, while Silva is the best ball-handler with an 89 Dribbling. Falcao is the most dangerous in the offensive zone with an 84 Shooting as Barzagli is the most likely to stifle an opponent’s chance with an 88 Defending. Three players (Asensio, Gündoǧan and Marchisio) all make their mates better with an 83 Passing. Glik and Khedira both push out the competition with 84 Physical ratings.

The four keepers in this first reveal (Leno, Ruffier, Subaši­­ć and Ter Stegen) have highs of 85 at Diving (Leno), 87 in Reflexes (Ruffier and Subaši­­ć), 84 at Handles (Leno and Ruffier), 51 in Speed (Subaši­­ć), 87 at Kick (Ter Stegen) and 85 at Position (Leno, Ruffier and Subaši­­ć).

It’s not yet known exactly when the next 20 players will be revealed, but gamers and football fans alike will be waiting with baited breath to see who players 80-61 will be. If the bottom 20 players are any indication, the best talent in the world will be included.
