Lonzo Ball to appear on ‘Fuller House’
Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball will be visiting San Francisco to guest star on Fuller House.
By the time the NBA regular season rolls around, Lonzo Ball will have more television appearances than games played. According to Variety, the Los Angeles Lakers rookie is set to appear on Season 3 of the Netflix comedy Fuller House.
The UCLA alum will play himself on the show, visiting the Tanner family in an effort to recruit for the Lakers. No word yet on which member of the family Ball will be recruiting. Jackson Tanner, 15, is the oldest of DJ Tanner-Fuller’s two sons. That might be a little too young for the Lakers to show interest, but it’s never too early to be part of the Big Baller family.
The Lakers ties to the Tanner-Fuller family goes back years as legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar taught Uncle Jesse everything he knows about basketball. I suspect that Jabbar was the one who tipped off Ball and the Lakers organization to the talent that runs in the family.
The Tanner-Fuller family live in San Francisco, so it was wise of Magic Johnson to get ahead of the Golden State Warriors in their recruiting. Danny Tanner is a lifelong Warriors fan, having covered the team back in 1988.
Ball is no stranger to the small screen. He currently stars in Ball in the Family, a reality show centered around his family, and made a guest appearance on WWE RAW over the summer. He also knows a thing or two about overbearing parents and growing up in a family with two other siblings.

Let’s just hope he sticks to basketball and doesn’t try to influence Jackson’s musical tastes.
Season 3 of Fuller House premieres for your binge watching enjoyment on Sep. 22.
