24. Ray McCallum, PG, Unicaja Malaga

McRae will translate because of his size and shot-making, but McCallum will translate because of his handle and creativity on the ball. The former Detroit Mercy guard has been a staple in the G League for years, and after apparently exhausting his NBA chances, he’ll move to new Euroleague club Malaga.

McCallum might have been the best ball-handler in the G League last season, and his ability to create out of isolations should fit well in what Malaga likes to do. This team was reliant on isolation basketball last season, so having a point guard with fringe NBA athleticism that can create shots at the rim effectively in the halfcourt and distribute at a high level is going to be a perfect fit. McCallum is incredibly entertaining, and he’s going to fit this team’s ethos pretty well. That makes him a slightly more interesting player than McRae.
