The No. 24 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will host the No. 15 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night. Here is the preview, the television schedule and a prediction.

Week 2 of the 2017 college football season has several incredible games on tap for our enjoyment. One features a pair of teams that have only met on the gridiron once before. Almost 40 years ago, these two blue-blood programs played in the 1980 National Championship. On Saturday, we’ll get to see the No. 24 Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the No. 15 Georgia Bulldogs once again.

Kickoff from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on September 9. NBC will have the national telecast. The available live streams can be found on NBC Sports and FuboTV

Point Spread: Notre Dame -4
Moneylines: Notre Dame -190, Georgia +165
Over/Under: 53

This will be the first of a home-and-home between the Bulldogs and the Fighting Irish. While there will be a gap year between the two contests, these two teams will meet again in Athens in late September 2019.

Another interesting wrinkle in this game is who will be starting at quarterback for both schools. While Brandon Wimbush got his first start out of the way against the Temple Owls last week, this will be the first time Jake Fromm with be leading the Dawgs out of the tunnel. He replaces the injured Georgia starter Jacob Eason on Saturday up in South Bend.
