NFL Week 1: Broadcast map

The NFL season begins on Thursday night up in Foxborough. Here are the broadcast maps for the Sunday afternoon games being played on CBS or FOX in Week 1.

The NFL is back and all but two teams will be playing their first games of the 2017 season. Because of Hurricane Irma, the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins down in Miami Gardens has been rescheduled for Week 11.

There will be four nationally televised games this week. Thursday Night Football will be in Foxborough when the New England Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs. NBC will have that telecast. Sunday Night Football on NBC will be in Arlington when the Dallas Cowboys host their division rival New York Giants.

ESPN will have a pair of Monday Night Football games in Week 1. The first will be up in Minneapolis, as the Minnesota Vikings will host the New Orleans Saints. Week 1 will concluded in the Mile High City when the Denver Broncos host their AFC West rival in the Los Angeles Chargers.

Here are the broadcast maps for the 11 games that will be airing on either CBS or FOX on Sunday afternoon. Maps are by 506Sports.com.

CBS

The featured game on CBS this week will be between the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. This game will feature Jim Nantz and Tony Romo in the booth.

The four other games during the early afternoon time slot on CBS will be as follows: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, New York Jets at Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans. CBS’ lone late afternoon game will be Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams.

FOX Early

Because of Hurricane Irma, FOX will only have five telecasts in Week 1 due to the rescheduling of Buccaneers at Dolphins. The featured game in the early time slot on FOX will be the Atlanta Falcons at the Chicago Bears. Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis will be in the booth for that one in Chicago.

The two other games during the early FOX time slot are the Philadelphia Eagles at the Washington Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals at the Detroit Lions. Those that would have been getting Buccaneers at Dolphins has not been determined at this time.

Because of a local home game going on simultaneously on CBS, these AFC cities will be blacked out on FOX during the early time slot: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Houston and Nashville.

FOX Late

There are two games on in the late afternoon on FOX on Sunday. Those two games are the Seattle Seahawks at the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers at the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seattle at Green Bay game is the featured game during this time slot on FOX. It will have Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth. Carolina at San Francisco will feature Them Brennaman and Chris Spielman.
