The second week of the 2017 college football season is here, and we preview and predict the the top games on the Week 2 schedule.

The first week of college football was absolutely thrilling. Alabama vs. Florida State was a defensive thriller, led by Nick Saban’s unit. While it was tough to see QB Deondre Francois’ season come to an end, the Seminoles’ defense should be elite this season.

Michigan vs. Florida provided some fireworks in the first half, but the better team led by Jim Harbaugh pulled away in the third and fourth quarters. Josh Rosen and UCLA engineered one of the greatest comebacks ever witnessed in college football. We’re still trying to figure out how Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M let it happen.

Tennessee and Georgia Tech gave us a glimpse of OT football and gutsy play-calling. Ohio State and Washington struggled on the road early, but managed to show why they’re the better team against lesser opponents.

Oklahoma, Clemson and Penn State took care of business at home in grand fashion, while USC sputtered to a last-minute victory.

Most of the top-25 teams left Week 1 unscathed, except for the two Florida teams — the Seminoles and Gators.

Looking ahead to Week 2, there are more fantastic matchups lined up, so let’s take a look at the full schedule for the top 25 teams in the nation, along with a quick preview and prediction for the five best games.
