There’s been a lot of criticism headed the way of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. And in both cases, it’s been suggested that each of these franchises are more interested in 2018 than winning games this season.
As for that theory, no tanks. We are getting ready to see Todd Bowles’ club attempt to bounce back from a dismal 5-11 season. Led by new head coach Sean McDermott, the Bills are finally hoping to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 1999.

If New York is to avoid another horrible year, they may have to ride their talented defensive unit. For the Bills, they’re looking to get back to the physical kind of defense that we saw for a few years prior to Rex Ryan’s appearance in Orchard Park.

A year ago, the Jets would sweep the Bills for the first time since 2011. Bowles’ club totaled at least 30 points in just three games in 2016. That was once against the Cleveland Browns and twice against the residents of Orchark Park, New York.
