DraftKings NFL: Week 1 lineup
By Joe Romano
Football is back and we’re here to help you set your DraftKings lineups for Week 1.
Your fantasy football drafts are wrapped up, lineups are set for Thursday night’s game between New England and Kansas City, you are ready to go!
This Sunday has a near full slate. The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers game has unfortunately been moved to Week 11 due to Hurricane Irma. Aside from that cancellation, we are looking at every other team in action. This gives fantasy players, especially daily fantasy players, the toughest choices to make.
Daily fantasy football has been surging over the past few years. It’s hard to watch or listen anything related to football and not see DraftKings’ name pop up. It’s a welcomed addition to Sundays for football fans. The chance to reset every week and watch a new line-up try to beat the odds.
Unlike most regular yearly fantasy football league, daily fantasy works under a salary cap. DraftKings format gives you $50,000 to create your optimal line-up. Their format includes, one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one defense/special teams and one flex. The standard format is also a points per reception (PPR) league, where you will be able to earn a point for every reception a player on your team makes.
With DraftKings’ opening weekend contest with free entry and a $1 BILLION prize, this looks to be the most played daily fantasy weekend of all time. This slide show will dive into the best values during that Week 1 contest.
