Tight End

Best value: Delanie Walker $4300

Notice a theme here? The Titans players look to be successful against the Raiders and what looks to be the highest-scoring game of the year.

Walker seems like a forgotten man in Tennessee with all the new weapons they brought in this offseason. He was the team’s best red zone option and finished second on the team in receiving yards, targets, and touchdowns. Rishard Matthews and Walker tied for the team lead in receptions.

The Raiders were bottom ten in the league against the tight end. Walker and Mariota should attack the weak linebacker play and mismatches the big tight end causes. The Raiders selected Obi Melifonwu in the second round of the draft to aid in tight end coverage. However, the talented and athletic rookie will start the season on the injured list.

Marcus Mariota would be wise to target Walker early and often. The Titans look to be a dynamic offense and keep their ability to run the ball. Walker will look great running the seam and certainly finish higher than the $4300 price tag assumes.

Runner-up: Zach Miller $2800

The Bears’ tight end is looking like the best receiving option in Chicago. Kendall Wright and Kevin White are the team’s starting wide receivers. New starting quarterback Mike Glennon will need to lean on the tight end.

Miller and the Bears play the Atlanta Falcons and should be in catch-up mode most of the game. Glennon throwing a bunch will equal to Miller having plenty of volume and opportunity. Atlanta’s defense finished in the bottom 10 against defenses last season.

The price tag for Miller being under $3000 makes a great value play. Unfortunately for Bears fans this may be the best target they have all season.
