Canelo Alvarez taking on Gennady Golovkin is one of the biggest boxing fights in history, and we look at the full fight card for Canelo vs. GGG.

Just a couple of weeks removed from a boxing “spectacle”, we’re moving on to a fight that could be one of the biggest and best matchups of all time. Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin are two of the best that the sport has to offer. What’s more, they’re also two of the biggest stars in boxing. So that they are set to deliver Canelo vs. GGG on Saturday, Sept. 16 is truly a gift to fans.

What really makes this middleweight fight stand out is the prowess and power of both of these guys. Canelo has one loss and one draw in his career to this point, but the Mexican has 49 victories already and 33 of them by way of knockout. GGG meanwhile has 37 wins, no losses and 33 knockouts — an incredible display of power.

Interestingly enough, though, the power of these two might not be the determining factor in Canelo vs. GGG. Both guys can knock the other out. But the real question is who is the better technician. The answer to that question could allow for the knockout blow, or could allow for a decision in their favor if the fight were to go the distance.

With such a high-profile fight, they aren’t going to let them out there without some quality on the fight card around them. As such, let’s take a look at the full fight card for Canelo vs. GGG:

Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin (Middleweight)
Joseph Diaz vs. Jorge Lara (Featherweight)
Diego De La Hoya vs. Randy Caballero (Super Bantamweight)
Claudio Marrero vs. Jesus Rojas (Featherweight)
Ryan Martin vs. Francisco Rojo (Lightweight)
