Stefon Diggs pays homage to Randy Moss with TD celebration (Video)

After his first touchdown on Monday night, Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss paid homage to Randy Moss

Monday night is a special night for the Minnesota Vikings, not just because they’re taking part in the first Monday Night Football game of the 2017 regular season, but also because at halftime they’re honoring one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game, Randy Moss.

Prior to the game on Monday night, the current electric receiver for the Vikings, Stefon Diggs, took to Instagram to show off some pretty awesome cleats that he would be wearing before the game to pay homage to one of the greatest to ever play the position.

The pregame cleats were awesome and all, but the real moment came as the game was actually being played. In the second quarter of the team’s game on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints, Diggs hauled in a touchdown pass from Sam Bradford. And afterwards, he gave Moss the perfect tribute with his celebration.

That most certainly was one of the best moments of the early season on Monday night, and there’s no doubt that Moss was more than flattered by Diggs paying tribute to him.

To make matters even better, Diggs wasn’t even done there in the first half, as he would pull in another score right before halftime hit. With that touchdown, the Vikings would take a 16-6 lead into the break after being down 6-3 before the first score.

With a whole half left to go and with Diggs already on fire in this one, we could see some more Randy Moss tributes before the night is over.
