West Ham face Huddersfield at London Stadium on Monday, Sept. 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
West Ham have had the worst start of any Premier League club this season. They currently sit last in the table with a minus-8 goal differential. The Hammers lost 4-0 to Manchester United on opening weekend, and things have not gotten better since. A 3-2 defeat against Southampton was compounded by Marko Arnautovic’s awful red card, and the 3-0 drubbing by newly-promoted Newcastle put the icing on the the worst tasting cake imaginable. Slaven Bilic is thoroughly on the hot seat after the first three matches, and a defeat to Huddersfield would likely be the end. Luckily, West Ham will play their first home contest of the season, and Andy Carroll is likely to make his first appearance of the year.
Huddersfield, on the other hand, have enjoyed a terrific start to their inaugural Premier League season. Even though their first three matches have been against lower level opposition, the Terriers have been great. A 3-0 opening day thrashing against Crystal Palace showed the league that Huddersfield play without fear, and they picked up four points from their next two. David Wagner’s club will be licking their chops to face a struggling West Ham, who’ve look terrible all season.
