Celtic face Paris Saint-Germain at Celtic Park on Tuesday, September 12. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Celtic will play their first Champions League match of the season in Group B against Paris Saint-Germain. The club are currently top of the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen on 12 points, ahead on superior goal differential. They have won the last six titles in the Premiership, and are favorites to do the same again this season. They drew a very difficult group in the Champions League, however. PSG and Bayern Munich are undoubtedly better sides in Europe, and Anderlecht are no pushover either. Brendan Rodgers’ side will have to be on top of their game to advance.
PSG had the most talked about and exciting summer of any cub in the world. They famously bought Neymar from Barcelona for a world-record fee, and received Kylian Mbappe on loan to buy next season late in the window. The moves have paid off already, as PSG are absolutely dominating Ligue 1. The club has won five of five with 19 goals for and only 3 against. Neymar has four goals and four assists so far, and Edinson Cavani is thriving off the lessened pressure with seven goals. It’s going to be hard to keep PSG off the score sheet in any match.
