Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bayley expressed her desire to headline WrestleMania by the 35th edition of the event in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Bayley has accomplished a lot in her career. She was the first woman, along with Sasha Banks, to headline an NXT TakeOver event. She and Sasha also tore the house down at Barclays Center at the very first TakeOver: Brooklyn. She was NXT Women’s Champion for over seven months. She also won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship this past February. She successfully defended the title in her first appearance at WrestleMania this year, too.

Speaking of WrestleMania, Bayley has her own aspirations for the event. The San Jose native is aiming high, if a recent interview with Sports Illustrated is any indication. As part of the Extra Mustard Week in Wrestling column, she boldly proclaimed her plans to headline the event within the next two years.

“I plan on headlining WrestleMania by WrestleMania 35,” said Bayley. “I want a one-on-one match with Sasha Banks. A Fatal Four-Way with Sasha, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte would also be great some day at a WrestleMania.”

It should come as no surprise that she made this claim. She, along with the other Four Horsewomen, are changing the standard since they began competing. Charlotte and Sasha already helped change the game in their historic feud during the fall and winter of 2016. The two women competed in matches not in the status quo. Becky competed in main events on SmackDown Live also.

Bayley, like the other three, also was in the main event of Raw when she won the title back in February. It would surprise nobody if the 28-year-old superstar competed in Network special main events in the near future. The goal, like for everyone else whether male or female, is to main event the biggest show of the year. With recent strides, it’s not as farfetched as once before. Bayley may achieve the goal, and she may not. But it would not surprise anybody if she was able to in fact pull it off.
