After the Cleveland Indians made some history on Wednesday, LeBron James was one of the first to offer up some congratulations

What the Cleveland Indians are doing right now is just downright insane. Here in the month of September as they look to successfully defend their American League title, the team made some history on Wednesday as they won their 21st consecutive game, setting a new American League record. Yes, no matter how many times you say it over to yourself, winning 21 straight games in Major League Baseball is absurd.

Rightfully so, congratulations are coming in from all around the city of Cleveland, and when it comes to that city, we all know who the most important person is — LeBron James. We saw last year during the team’s amazing run to the World Series that LeBron is one of the biggest Indians fans around, so naturally, not long after the team broke the record, the King himself offered up his congratulations.

First off, the Cleveland WINdians is a pretty awesome nickname and one that this team is more than deserving of right now with the tear that they’re on. Although, when it comes down to it, they just want to be called World Series Champions by the time this season is all said and done.

Again, as the Indians made it all the way to the World Series last year, LeBron was right there along with them, as was most of the Cleveland Cavaliers team. It’s always awesome when you see different teams in a city supporting one another and this shout out from the best player in the NBA to the Indians is the latest example of that.

Now we just have to wonder whether or not he’ll support the Indians when he (maybe) leaves the Cavaliers following this season.

Sorry, I had to, I couldn’t help myself.
