2018 NFL Mock Draft: Saquon Barkley crashing QB party
By Brad Weiss
The 2018 NFL Draft order is a bit jumbled this week after some of the best teams in the league lost their season opener in Week 1.
As we look at our next edition of the 2018 NFL Mock Draft, the order is nothing like the way it is going to look next April. Some of the best teams in the NFL took a loss on Sunday, while there was some surprising teams who found the win column. As it stands now, the Jaguars would be picking after the Patriots, and we all know that is not going to happen on draft day.

With Week 1 of the NFL season in the books, here is our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
The New York Jets are going to be one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, if not the worst. On Sunday, they went into Buffalo as a 9.5 point favorite, and nearly played bad enough to not cover the spread. This team is lost, and after getting rid of all of their veteran players, a possible winless season is not out of the realm of possibility.
Josh McCown started at quarterback for the Jets this past Sunday, and actually found the end zone with his legs. However, he is certainly not the team’s long-term solution at the quarterback position, which means they are taking a signal-caller with their first round pick in April. If he does decided to declare for the NFL Draft, the Jets should select Sam Darnold from USC.
Darnold had a ho-hum first week against the Western Michigan Broncos, but followed it up with a magical game in primetime on Saturday night. The sophomore threw for four touchdowns against a good Stanford defense, showing America why he is a front-runner for the Heisman Trophy. The Jets have not admitted it, but there is possibly a “Suck for Sam” campaign going on, so they better hope he decided to leave USC after this season.
