Iman Marshall

Cornerback, USC

The Green Bay Packers got off to a good start to the 2017 NFL season, beating the Seattle Seahawks at home on Sunday. The Packers and Seahawks are supposed to be two of the best teams in the NFC, so grabbing a win against them early in the season could prove to be key later on. Both team struggled to do much on offense, which was a good sign for a Packers defense that looked really bad their last time out.

That last time was the NFC Championship Game, where the Atlanta Falcons threw the ball all over the field against them. While their secondary looked improved this past weekend, they still need to add some depth to the cornerback position. With a probable late-first round pick, the Packers should look to bring in Iman Marshall from USC.

Marshall is a ball-hawking cornerback, who could slide into a top corner spot at the next level from Day one. He has the ability to go up and get the ball, and has the cover skills you look for in a first round draft pick. The Packers need to continue to get better on the defensive side of the ball, because if they can be better there, they still have the offensive firepower to beat any team in the NFC.
