Real Madrid face Apoel Nicosia at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, Sept. 13 in Champions League play. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Real Madrid reigned over the Champions League at the end of the tournament last season. With a win over their in-city rivals, Atletico, they won the UCL and never looked back. Now they’re looking forward, though, and would love to repeat in the Champions League. That all begins at home on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabeu as they begin Group H play against Apoel Nicosia.

Early in the season, Real Madrid have dealt with a number of injuries that have been hard to deal with. When it comes to Los Blancos, though, that’s never a horrible issue. They have so much talent and depth that it’s just unfair, especially when the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale remain healthy.

Unfortunately for Apoel Nicosia, they won’t have much of a chance at contending with the Spanish giants. They could be outmatched. But crazier things have happened in the Champions League.

According to Sportsbook Review, Real Madrid are -2500 favorites in this match to open the groups stage. Though that could indicate a blowout, it still is fun to watch one of the best clubs in the world at their peak. That could well be the case as they take on Apoel Nicosia. Then again, maybe a massive upset is in store.
