A.J. Green showed us all once again why he is one of the best wide receivers in football today, without a doubt.

When someone asks you to name the best wide receivers in the NFL today, chances are when someone is running down their list, the name of Cincinnati Bengals wideout A.J. Green will pop up somewhere. The Georgia Bulldogs product has been tearing up the league for quite some time now. He’s looking to continue to do so here in 2017, and well, he’s definitely off to one hell of a start in that regard.

Thursday night the Bengals are at home where they’re taking on the Houston Texans, another team who suffered a pretty damning loss in Week 1 of the season this past Sunday. In the first quarter of this one after the Texans took a 3-0 lead, the Bengals were looking for an answer and Green was there to provide all the help that he could.

After the Texans field goal, Andy Dalton dropped back and just heaved one up down the middle of the field where there were three Houston defenders in the vicinity. That didn’t really matter, though, as Green was able to get up there and come down with the ball, making one of the best catches of the young season thus far.

That right there is why Green is one of the best that you will find at the wide receiver position, and it’s just great when he proves it to us every now and again.

Although, it should not be overlooked here that the defense by the Texans on this play is … WOOF! Yes, it was amazing by Green to get up there and get the rock, but come on, make some sort of better play on the ball there.

Nonetheless, it must be awesome to have a wide receiver that you can chuck the ball up to like that, knowing he’s probably gonna come down with it.
