Bills at Panthers live stream: TV info, prediction, odds and more
By John Buhler
The Carolina Panthers will host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon in Week 2. Here is the television information, the betting odds and a prediction.
Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season was fantastic. Two teams that got big wins on Sunday will be squaring off in Charlotte in Week 2. The Carolina Panthers will host the Buffalo Bills for some action in the early part of the year.
Kickoff from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on September 17. CBS will have the telecast. The available live streams can be found on NFL.com and on FuboTV.
Buffalo took care of business against the awful New York Jets in Orchard Park on Sunday afternoon, 21-12. Though the Bills are not expected to win a ton of games this season, they played within themselves to get a big first division win of the season over New York.
Carolina went on the road and throttled the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, 23-3. The Panthers were expected to win on the road in Levi’s Stadium, but some questioned if it would be a tight ball game or not. San Francisco looked like a team that has a long way to go before winning under new head coach Kyle Shanahan. Carolina obviously took advantage.

Betting Odds
Point Spread: Carolina -7
Moneylines: Carolina -320, Buffalo +260
Over/Under: 42.5
According to SportsBook Review, Panthers will be laying seven points at home to the visiting Bills. The associated moneylines in the game are Carolina -320 and Buffalo +260. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 42.5 points.
Carolina may be laying seven points at home to the Bills, but this will be a closer one-possession game in Charlotte on Sunday afternoon. Keep in mind that the two men running the Bills have Charlottean roots. Head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane most recently worked for the 2016 Panthers.
No doubt these two will be fired up for this game. McDermott was the Panthers defensive coordinator under Ron Rivera. He knows how to exploit this Panthers defense, as well as how to best attack Cam Newton and the Carolina offense. Beane knows almost all the players from his time in the Carolina front office.

While this could be a low-scoring affair, a few late touchdowns on the ground by Newton and Bills running back LeSean McCoy will make this one go slightly over. Ultimately, Carolina will be able to come up with a huge fourth and goal stop on Tyrod Taylor and the Bills offense to move to 2-0. Buffalo will chalk this one up to a moral victory, not that it counts for much of anything. Carolina wins, but Buffalo covers.
Prediction: Panthers 24, Bills 20
