The Indianapolis Colts will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Here is the game preview, the betting odds, and a final score prediction.

Week 2 has to be better for at least one of these teams we’ll see at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday. After two bad losses to start the year in Week 1, the Indianapolis Colts will host the Arizona Cardinals for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on September 17. FOX will have the telecast.

Arizona did not hang with the Detroit Lions in their road loss up in Ford Field. Matthew Stafford outplayed Carson Palmer and Arizona lost star running back David Johnson for the foreseeable future due to a wrist injury. Let’s hope you didn’t center your fantasy football team around Johnson, oh wait, you did!

Indianapolis was the sorriest team in football in Week 1. When Jared Goff and the formerly listless Los Angeles Rams eviscerate you on national television, yikes! The Colts may be the worst team in football when Andrew Luck doesn’t play at quarterback for them. He’ll be out until October.

Unless we get one of those ties we all love as football fans, somebody is going to come out of Indianapolis with a Week 2 victory. Will it be ancient Arizona or inert Indianapolis? This could be a close one, but will likely end up being a laugher.

Betting Odds

Point Spread: Indianapolis +7.5
Moneylines: Arizona -335, Indianapolis +275
Over/Under: 44.5

According to SportsBook Review, the Colts will be getting 7.5 points at home from the visiting Cardinals. With regards to this game, the money liens are Arizona -335 and Indianapolis +275. The over/under for this game is 44.5 combined points.

This will be a rematch of the Chuck Strong coaches in Bruce Arians of Arizona and Chuck Pagano of Indianapolis. Arians won NFL Coach of the Year in 2012 when Pagano was battling leukemia his first year on the job in Indianapolis. The Cardinals hired Arians before the start of the 2013 NFL season.

Despite being two dome teams going at it, we’ll have to go with the under in this one. Arizona will be without its best offensive player in Johnson. What’s the point of having a great wide receiver like T.Y. Hilton when Scott Tolzien can’t throw him the football?

Arizona does have a sound defense. That should be the difference in this game. The Cardinals will be able to force a few turnovers on the troubled Colts offense. They might even take one to the house in Indianapolis. The Cardinals score twice more in this game. Indianapolis musters a touchdown and a field goal to lose by 11 at home to Arizona.

Prediction: Cardinals 21, Colts 10
