The Indianapolis Colts will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon in Week 2. Here is the television information, the betting odds and a prediction.
It’s already Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season. One of the games going on early Sunday afternoon will be between the Arizona Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts. Kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on September 17. FOX will have the telecast. The available live streams can be found on NFL.com and FuboTV.
Week 1 of the year was a regrettable one for the Cardinals and the Colts. Arizona looked old against Matthew Stafford’s Detroit Lions up in Motown. The Cardinals have also star running back David Johnson out for weeks, possibly months with a wrist injury suffered in Week 1.
Then there was the most pitiful performance of Week 1 going on in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Rams pulverized the Luckless Colts. It was so bad that Colts head coach Chuck Pagano forgot which NFC West beat the tar out of his club. We have to give credit where it isn’t due, so good job by you, San Francisco 49ers.
Neither of these teams will want to start the year out in an 0-2 hole. However unless we get one of those delightfully weird ties, that will be the case in this game between the Cardinals and the Colts up in Indianapolis.

According to SportsBook Review, the Colts will be getting 7.5 points at home from the visiting Cardinals. The associated moneylines in this game are Arizona -335 and Indianapolis +285. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 44.5 points.
Betting Odds
Point Spread: Indianapolis +7.5
Moneylines: Arizona -335, Indianapolis +285
Over/Under: 44.5
With how toothless the Colts offense looked with Scott Tolzien under center, the Cardinals will have to dismantle Indianapolis 2017 Rams style to get this one over 44.5 points. Probably go with the under, especially with Johnson not being able to run the ball for Arizona.
Whichever teams drops this one will be in real bad shape. Arizona does three things the Colts do not: a Pro Bowl level quarterback in Carson Palmer, a future Hall of Fame wide receiver in Larry Fitzgerald and an excellent defense built by general manager Steve Keim.

Don’t expect a ton of points in this game, but the Cardinals will prevail over the Colts and cover the 7.5-point spread very easily. The Colts might be the second-worst team in the AFC after the lousy New York Jets.
Prediction: Arizona 21, Indianapolis 10
