2. John Fox, Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have simply been mediocre since the arrival of John Fox in 2015. Honestly, Fox should have been fired after a 3-13 season in 2016, but he has great pedigree as a coach, so the front office kept him around. The Bears are 9-24, in total, since his arrival.

Bears fans had high hopes for the Fox era in Chicago. He came in having taken the Denver Broncos to the NFL Playoffs four years in a row, which included a loss in Super Bowl XLVIII to the Seattle Seahawks.

It hasn’t quite been the fault of Fox that the team has been so bad. The Bears just have a roster that is not up to snuff with the rest of the NFL. He had to pick up the pieces put together by former general manager Phil Emery.

The NFL Draft has been of no help to Fox’s Bears. They drafted Kevin White in the first round in 2016. He’s been plagued by injuries, playing just five games since being drafted. The Bears selected quarterback Mitch Trubisky with the second overall pick in 2017. However, the team is starting Mike Glennon, at the moment. It will probably upset fans that they won’t get to see their exciting new prospect for a while.

John Fox isn’t the coach for the future of the Bears. He isn’t known for developing great quarterbacks, so the Bears management need to think about finding an offensive mind that will help the team moving forward.

The Bears will likely improve this season and be a tough team to beat, but it may not be enough for Fox to keep his job.
