Redskins at Rams: Preview, prediction, odds and pick
The Rams find themselves atop the NFC West after Week 1, and they’re looking to hold onto that ranking as they battle the Redskins on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams shocked the world in Week 1 when they put on a dominant performance against the Indianapolis Colts, and came out of the week as the lone team in the NFC West with a win. With that, they earned a spot in first place in the division, something likely no one could have predicted after the first week of action.
Now, the Rams will look to continue their rapid pace, and they’ll have the Washington Redskins traveling to Los Angeles for a battle on Sunday afternoon. The Redskins are looking to make up for a bad loss to a divisional rival in the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles, and they’ll look to take the Rams down from their high horse atop their division out west.
Jared Goff looked strong under center for the Rams in his first game of his second NFL season, and now we’ll see if it was just a fluke performance or if he’s able to replicate it all in Week 2. Meanwhile, the Redskins will look to make up for the horrible showing they had defensively in Week 1, and stop the Goff train from rolling any further.
Odds: Rams -2.5, according to SportsBook Review
The odds have this as a close game, and with the limited talent level on both teams, we could be in for a real even matchup on Sunday afternoon. After a week of lackluster late games last Sunday, this game should be a refreshing change of pace in Los Angeles.

This one could be decided by the home field advantage, albeit a limited number of fans considering it’s a Rams home game, and we could see more people packing the house with the Rams actually atop the division. That could translate to a strong performance, and it should give them another nice win in Week 2.
Pick: Rams 23, Redskins 20
