Titans at Jaguars live stream: TV info, prediction, odds and more
By John Buhler
The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Here is the television schedule, the betting odds and a prediction.
Don’t look now, but we’ve got a huge early season game in the AFC South on tap for Week 2. Yes, this one really matters and it won’t feature all baby blue and mustard yellow on Thursday Night Football.
With the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts looking like hot garbage in Week 1, the best team in the AFC South might emerge as the winner between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans.
Kickoff from EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville on Sunday will be at 1:00 p.m. ET. CBS will have the telecast on September 17. The available live streams can be found on NFL.com and on FuboTV.
Tennessee is coming off a tough home loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 1. After seeing quarterback Marcus Mariota find pay dirt in the first quarter, the lackluster Raiders defense kept the Tennessee offense out of the end zone for the rest of the afternoon. While Oakland is one of the better teams in the AFC, that was not the start to the season Mike Mularkey wanted for his Titans.
Then there were the Jaguars. Doug Marrone’s boys humiliated the rival Texans at NRG Stadium. Jacksonville became Sacksonville on Sunday, bringing Texans quarterbacks to the ground 10 times. The offense was in largely game-manage mode, but that Jaguars defense looks to be legit. Jacksonville established how it will need to play to win on fall Sundays this year.

Over/Under: 44
Jacksonville may have laid the hammer down on the Texans offense, but Tennessee’s is certainly more adept than Houston’s. The Titans will score points on the Jaguars at home, even if the pass rush gets to Mariota. It will come down to if Blake Bortles can do enough to keep pace with the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner at the quarterback position.
Bortles won’t blow this game for the Jaguars, but he will miss on a few passes. Guess he’ll regret running into Allen Robinson in Week 1 in Houston. Friendly fire is the worst. This will be one of the better early games in Week 1. Expect both teams to get it into the end zone a few times.
The ground game will be the main focal point of this game. It will come down to what the Titans do on their final drive inside of three minutes. Mariota will do enough to set up kicker Ryan Succop for a 40-yard field goal as time expires.

Titans win by three and cover the 1.5-point spread. Both teams will come out of this game feeling good about themselves, even though only Tennessee will be victorious.
Prediction: Titans 27, Jaguars 24
