The Crimson Tide have played amazingly on both offense and defense. Jalen Hurts has completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns. He has yet to throw an interception. Hurts has been just as impressive running, racking up 209 yards on 25 attempts this season.

Defensively, the team continues to improve each season. They allowed just 250 yards against Florida State Week 1. Additionally, they created three turnovers. The Seminoles were ranked third in the country coming into the game and Alabama made them look weak. They are well on their way to another College Football Playoff if they continue this level of play.
The Colorado State Rams will be coming into this game with a good deal of confidence after an impressive 38-10 win over Abilene Christian. Quarterback Nick Stevens has created tons of offense in the team’s first three outings. He has passed for 980 yards and six touchdowns. However, his accuracy has been an issue. His completion percentage is just 59.5 percent and he has thrown four interceptions. Alabama will take advantage of this weakness.
If Colorado State wants to compete, they obviously need to minimize their mistakes. Although, their defense can create turnovers of their own. Jamal Hicks caught a pair of interceptions in last week’s blowout. Even in their loss against Colorado, they allowed just 345 yards of total offense. In fact, they out gained the Buffaloes in that game but just couldn’t execute. The Rams shouldn’t be blown out but will need a miracle to win this one.
