The Baylor Bears will face off against the Duke Blue Devils Saturday. Here’s how to watch one of the most underrated teams in college football online.
The Duke Blue Devils hope to continue their strong start to the season as they play Baylor. Kickoff from Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, North Carolina on Saturday will be at 12:30 p.m. ET. ACC Network will have the telecast. The available live stream will be on WatchESPN.
Baylor has started this year with two disappointing losses against opponent they should beat. They opened the season with a gunslinging loss against Liberty by a score of 48-45. In Week 2, they came up short in a defensive battle 17-10 against UTSA. Anu Solomon hasn’t lived up to expectations at the quarterback position. His completion percentage is an abysmal 43.6 percent through the first two games. He has thrown for 399 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions. Solomon’s start has left him benched for this game against Duke, so sophomore Zach Smith will get the start. According to ESPN, the senior transfer from Arizona is now in the concussion protocol, as well. Baylor will likely have to rely on running back John Lovett to get the offense going against the Blue Devils. This season, he has rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries. The defense has yet to find itself too. They are averaging 480 yards against them per game. Needless to say, every aspect of Baylor’s team will need to improve heavily to compete in Week 3.
Meanwhile, Duke’s start has been the polar opposite. While their competition hasn’t been the highest, they have defeated both opponents easily. In Week 1, they took out North Carolina Central 60-7. Last week, they beat Northwestern by a score of 41-17. Quarterback Daniel Jones is playing very well to start the season and is a big reason the Blue Devils have been successful. Jones has passed for 518 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception on 48-70 passing. Additionally, he has run effectively too. Against Northwestern, he was the team’s leading rusher with 108 yards. Amazingly, their defense is giving up just 174.5 yards per game. Playing on their home field is another advantage for the Blue Devils. They have won each of their last five games in Durham. While Baylor can’t get anything going, Duke is a team that seems to have everything working to start the season.

Duke is definitely the better team and should win this game fairly easy. Home field advantage alone should be enough to lift the Blue Devils to victory over Baylor.
