Canelo vs. GGG live stream: Watch the fight online
Canelo vs. GGG takes place Saturday, Sept. 16 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, and here’s all the info you need to watch the fight.
Some three weeks ago, the boxing world all tuned in to what can only be described as a spectacle with Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor fighting. In the same venue, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, on Saturday, Sept. 16 though, Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin are set to go face-to-face. And the bout promises to be incredible once the bell rings for Canelo vs. GGG.
This matchup is between two potential all-time greats, one well established and the other looking to do just that. Canelo enters this matchup at 27 years old with a 49-1-1, but beating Golovkin would be hands-down the biggest win of his career. The same can be said for the knockout artist GGG, who’s looking to show he’s still the best and maintain his pristine 37-0-0 record.
It’s going to be interesting to see how these two go at one another. Golovkin obviously has elite power and great skill. However, Alvarez is likely the quicker of the two and is a brilliant counter-puncher. This is truly a match that could go a variety of ways. It could end in the first round or could go the distance with a variety of other possible outcomes falling somewhere in-between.
With the fight ready to take place in Vegas, it only makes sense to also look at the odds for Canelo vs. GGG. Per BetDSI via Sportsbook Review, Golovkin is the -160 favorite for the fight with Alvarez coming in as the +135 underdog. Meanwhile, the Over/Under for rounds lasted is set high at 11.5, which is interesting given the power of each man.
