Tennessee vs. Florida finally provided a touchdown and of course it came from the defensive side of the ball
Look, I’m not gonna beat around the bush here whatsoever. The SEC East battle on Saturday between the Tennessee Volunteers and Florida Gators has been a damn train wreck. This is especially apparent when both teams are on offense, as they’ve both sucked up the joint throughout the afternoon, both from a play-calling and execution standpoint.
As these two just sort of kept falling over each other, you legitimately wondered if we would see a touchdown in this game at all. Would either of these teams do what the game of football instructs you to do which is, you know, cross the opposing team’s goal line.

Well … IT DID HAPPEN! And as we all maybe, sort of saw coming all along, the first touchdown of the afternoon did not come from an offensive unit. No, it actually came from the Florida defense after CJ Henderson picked off Tennessee quarterback Quinten Dormady and returned it to the house for six.
PICK. SIX.

You know, while the defense did get the first score of the game here on Saturday, it’s just so very fitting that it came about because of a terrible offensive play with the throw from Dormady there. Really, it shouldn’t have happened any other way.
As for the rest of this game, if you’re not watching it and maybe planned on doing so at a later time, just save yourself the pain and delete it from the DVR. You do not want to watch anything else that took place in what has been Tennessee vs. Florida 2017. Nope, just walk away.
