The Clemson Tigers face the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Papa John’s Cardinals Stadium, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

It was one of the best games of last season when the Clemson Tigers and Louisville Cardinals squared off. Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson duking it out made for an instant-classic. Now college football fans will be hoping for more of the same on Saturday, Sept. 16 as the defending National Champions travel to Papa John’s Cardinals Stadium to face the Cardinals.

Things have definitely changed for Clemson from last year coming into 2017. Watson is now gone, as are many other key players from last season. With that said, they boast one of the best defenses in the country, anchored by Christian Wilkins and Clelin Ferrell. However, the key for this matchup could be the road team getting big games from quarterback Kelly Bryant and the likes of Deon Cain at wide receiver.

As for Louisville, there are also numerous changes of note. The weapons on offense and on defense have all largely changed. With that said, the Cardinals still have the most dangerous weapon in college football: 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. The quarterback is back and maybe even better this time around. Even against the vaunted Tigers defense, he’s good enough to still carry his team to victory.

Even though Clemson is on the road against a high quality opponent, they are -3 favorites in this matchup according to 5Dimes via Sportsbook Review. The Tigers have a moneyline of -155 in this matchup, while Louisville sits at +145 and the Over/Under sits at 58 points.
