Florida defeats Tennessee on Hail Mary as time expires (Video)

Florida defeated Tennessee on Saturday, and this game ended the only way it possibly could have

The game on Saturday between the Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday could not have possibly been any weirder. For most of the game, both offenses were stinking up the joint. Like, really, they were terrible. Then in the fourth quarter, something just clicked with both teams and we have a mini-shootout on our hands.

So, naturally, this game had to have an insane finish, and that is indeed what we got.

After Tennessee had driven down the field to tie the game at 20, it seemed we were destined for overtime in this one. Hell, with the way these two played, it seemed as if that was the only conclusion on the table here.

Or, you know, we could end this game in the craziest way possible, with a Hail Mary touchdown from Florida’s Feleipe Franks to Tyrie Cleveland.

Now right before this play Florida ran the ball, looking as if they were in fact playing for overtime. However, we were all wrong in that regard, as they were ready to throw up the prayer to see if it sticks. Well, it stuck, and the Gators now have their first win of the season.

This really is the most insane way for this one to end, simply because both offenses were just tripping all over the field this afternoon. It was one of the worst offensive games we’ve seen all season for the most part, but the last 15 minutes everything changed and this is what we got in the end.

This sport is just the best sometimes. Okay, all of the time really.
