The Georgia Bulldogs face the Samford Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 16 at Sanford Stadium, and here’s all the info you need to watch.

Things could’ve gone disastrously for the Georgia Bulldogs early in the 2017 season. When quarterback Jacob Eason was injured in their opener, they could’ve collapsed. Instead, they’ve moved to 2-0 with a pair of impressive wins. Now they get somewhat of a respite as they welcome the Samford Bulldogs to Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16 in Week 3.

Head coach Kirby Smart put Georgia in the hands of freshman quarterback Jake Fromm after the Eason injury. And that move has paid off as the replacement has been highly impressive. Flanked by a backfield comprised of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, the offense is in nice hands. Armed with a solid defense as well, they’re a formidable opponent for anyone, much less their fellow Bulldogs.

Samford also enters this game at 2-0, though victories over Kennesaw State and West Alabama aren’t all that impressive. With an upset in mind, quarterback Devlin Hodges will hope to shine in the spotlight, especially if stud receiver Kelvin McKnight can also step up to the task.

Given how far apart these two teams are in terms of talent, it’s no surprise that Georgia is the heavy favorite in this matchup. However, crazy things happen every single week, so see what odds you can get for the game via Sportsbook Review.

We’ve learned a lot about Georgia through the first two weeks, even after losing Eason. This shouldn’t be a test for them on the surface as they’re far better than Samford. However, it’s never wise to count anything out in college football, so watch out for this battle of the Bulldogs.
