ESPN’s College GameDay will head to Louisville, KY for Week 3. Will Lee Corso use his headgear pick on Louisville or Clemson?

On almost every Saturday of the college football season, ESPN heads to a campus for the latest edition of College GameDay. This features Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and a cast of analysts. It also includes Lee Corso, best known for his headgear pick that’s made at the end of every show.

For Saturday’s headgear pick, Corso will select between Louisville and Clemson. College GameDay is in Louisville, KY for this game.

Clemson is the No. 3 team in the nation, and that’s without Deshaun Watson, who’s now the quarterback for the Houston Texans. His replacement is Kelly Bryant, a junior, that’s totaled 417 passing yards and one touchdown through two games.

Bryant and the Tigers had to fight through Auburn in Week 2, winning 14-6 to remain undefeated and move up the polls. The defense led this performance. However, allowing just 38 rushing yards and 79 through the air. Will it be able to contain Louisville?

The Cardinals are the No. 14 team. After defeating UNC, they’ll look for their biggest win of the early season, and in ACC play, just as it gets into full swing.

Identical to 2016, Louisville is led by quarterback Lamar Jackson. He put up Heisman-esque numbers in Week 2, passing for 393 yards and running for 132. He had six total touchdowns.

If Jackson is going to repeat as the Heisman Trophy winner, games like Saturday’s will go a long way toward this. He’ll need an eye-popping performance and victory.

Before the action gets underway, Corso will pick the winner of this game on College GameDay. Will it be the Cardinal head or the face of the Tiger?

This will be one of the biggest games Corso’s had to pick this season. It follows up on Sep. 9’s Ohio State vs. Oklahoma game, which saw him pick the former. The Sooners won, however, 31-16.
