Nebraska vs. Northern Illinois live stream: How to watch online
Here’s how to watch Saturday’s nonconference clash between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Northern Illinois Huskies online.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers will try to bounce back from a pair of shaky performances to open the season when they take on the Northern Illinois Huskies on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Memorial Stadium.
Nebraska allowed the Oregon Ducks to pile up 42 points in the first half of last week’s meeting in Eugene before a late rally fell short in a seven-point loss. That followed a win over Arkansas State that came down to the wire in week one, so Mike Riley’s third season at Nebraska hasn’t fully gone according to plan.
Sophomore running back Tre Bryant has been solid with 51 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns, and is expected to be able to play though a knee injury against the Huskies. Junior safety Aaron Williams has been leading a ballhawking secondary with 18 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery through two games.
Northern Illinois has rapidly fallen off since an 11-3 campaign in 2014, and is off to a 1-1 start this season with head coach Rod Carey squarely on the hot seat. After suffering a narrow home defeat to Boston College in the season opener, the Huskies cruised to a 38-10 win over FCS Eastern Illinois last Saturday.
With starting quarterback Ryan Graham out due to a sprained elbow, the Huskies will turn to sophomore Daniel Santacaterina, who threw for three scores against Eastern Illinois. Northern Illinois has some upside in the backfield in 2017, as the tandem of Marcus Jones and Jordan Huff has been efficient in the early going.

Sportsbook Review has the Cornhuskers as a 13-point favorite at home, with the O/U opening at 62. With a backup quarterback in for the Huskies, Nebraska will be disappointed if it at least isn’t able to win by double-digits.
