Browns at Ravens: Highlights, score and recap
On Sunday afternoon, the Baltimore Ravens stifled the Cleveland Browns. So what came out of the AFC North showdown?
To say the Baltimore Ravens have enjoyed the time they have spent with the Cleveland Browns is an understatement. Dating back to 2008 and head coach John Harbaugh’s arrival in the Land of Crab Cakes, his team now owns a 17-2 record in this AFC North rivalry.
The Ravens used five takeaways on Sunday to defeat the visiting Browns, 24-10. And regardless if it was rookie Deshone Kizer or backup Kevin Hogan at quarterback, it was a fairly lone day for this duo overall.

Three Stars
1. Javorius Allen
It added up to 19 touches and 101 yards from scrimmage for the Ravens’ running back. Allen led the team with 66 yards on the ground and one score. He also finished second on the club with five catches, good for 101 yards and one of Joe Flacco’s two touchdown passes.
2. Ben Watson
We didn’t see the veteran tight end at all last season due to injury. In Week 1 at Cincinnati, he was targeted once and did not catch a pass. That all changed on Sunday against the Brown as quarterback Joe Flacco took aim at the veteran weapon eight times and caught all of those throws for a combined 91 yards.
3. Duke Johnson
Cleveland quarterbacks combined for all five of the team’s turnovers against the Ravens. But it was Johnson who provided a number of big plays in the losing effort. He touched the ball only eight times but accounted for 80 yards, including a spectacular 34-yards reception.

Odds
The Baltimore Ravens were favored by 10 points and managed to cover the number. Entering this meeting, the Ravens averaged 29 points per game in their last four contests in this series. Which is why the 38.5 over/under number was a bit surprising. Surprising but pretty accurate.
Next Week
Both the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens hit the road next week. And it’s safe to say that one team will be doing a lot more traveling than the other. The former heads to Indianapolis to face Chuck Pagano’s Colts. Meanwhile, the Ravens will be traveling to jolly old England to square off with the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
