The Cleveland Browns fear wide receiver Corey Coleman has a broken hand, which would be par for the course.
Things have been going pretty alright for the Cleveland Browns this season, all things considered. The team might be 0-2, but for the first time in a while there’s hope that the moral victories will translate into actual wins in the future.
If that happens, it will likely be without wide receiver Corey Coleman. After leaving the game on Sunday against the Ravens, Coleman’s status was up in the air as far as how hurt he might be. The initial fear was that it might be a hand injury but not a whole lot was known right away.
Saw Corey Coleman go to X-ray room before locker room opened to media. No update on his hand at the moment.

Later on it was revealed that there was a fear Coleman had suffered a broken hand. That report came from Mary Kay-Cabot, who spoke with a source close to the team.
If Coleman is lost, it will be the second time in two years that a broken hand ended his season early. There’s hope that he could return later in the year, but the Browns aren’t in a position to compete this year so why rush him back?
There was a lot of buzz about Coleman and Kenny Britt opening up the Cleveland offense, but so far that hasn’t happened. Despite the injury, there’s a lot for Browns fans to be hopeful for in the future which is a lot more than you could have said in the past.
