In Week 2 action of the NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles will head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in a matchup of unbeaten teams.

Both the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs came away with wins in Week 1, and will now try to remain unbeaten when they play each other on Sunday. It will be the second consecutive road game for the Eagles, who beat the Washington Redskins inside FedEx Field to earn a big division win. The Chiefs went to New England and throttled the Patriots on Thursday night, in a game that was one of the bigger surprises of the first week of the season.

For the Eagles, Carson Wentz had a solid game against the Redskins, picking up right where he left off after a solid preseason. He was aided by a tremendous effort by the Eagles defense, especially Fletcher Cox, who returned a fumble 20 yards for a touchdown. Philadelphia played solid on both sides of the ball, and will need the same kind of effort against a very good Chiefs team on Sunday.

The Chiefs were the No. 2 seed in the AFC Playoff last season, and they certainly played like it in Week 1 against the Patriots. Quarterback Alex Smith looked like a new man, consistently firing darts down the field. The biggest star of the night, however, was rookie running back Kareem Hunt, who accounted for three of the Chiefs touchdowns in his NFL debut.

This game has all the markings of being a good one, as both teams should be in contention for a playoff spot in 2017. Philadelphia’s offense looked very good against the Redskins in Week 1, but they will be going up against an elite defense in Kansas City. The Chiefs did lose star safety Eric Berry for the season in Week 1, so maybe Wentz will find some holes in the secondary, and pull off a stunning upset, but do not hold your breath.
