The GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma is the 2017 IndyCar season finale. Here’s how to watch the Verizon IndyCar Series race from Sonoma live, on TV and online.

The 2017 IndyCar season comes to an end at the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma, as four drivers will battle it out at Sonoma Raceway to see who’s named the next Verizon IndyCar Series champion.

Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden enters the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma as the man to beat; he’s driven the wheels off the No. 2 car in his first season for the biggest team in IndyCar. But right on his bumper is Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon, who will be looking for his fifth Verizon IndyCar Series title and has won multiple races at Sonoma. A victory for Dixon would give him the second most championships all-time behind only the legendary A.J. Foyt.

The 2016 IndyCar season, and last year’s Grand Prix of Sonoma, belonged to Simon Pagenaud. The Frenchman coasted last year and dominated the previous race, leading all but nine laps as he cruised to his first title. Pagenaud comes into Sonoma the underdog, though, fourth in the points. Can he deliver another near flawless performance to steal a win and repeat at the top?

The final race of the year is poised to be a four-way shootout between Newgarden, Dixon, Will Power and Pagenaud, and you don’t want to miss the slugfest.
