Looking to Week 2 of the NFL schedule, here’s a lineup to consider deploying in FanDuel contests.

Before we get going with my Week 2 NFL FanDuel lineup, let’s do an accountability session for Week 1.

Quarterback: Sam Bradford-25.54 points
Running Backs: LeSean McCoy-18.4 points and Adrian Peterson-1.8 points
Wide Receivers: Julio Jones-8.6 points, Brandon Marshall-1.5 points and Martavis Bryant-2.4 points
Tight End: Jimmy Graham-2.3 points
Kicker: Brandon McManus-6 points
Defense: Los Angeles Rams-28 points

Bradford and the Rams’ defense are the clear high points here, with McCoy also proving to be a solid choice. Jones was a relative dud, and let’s not talk about Marshall, Bryant and Graham with their combined 6.2 points. McManus missed a long field goal that would have helped his point total, but otherwise he was mediocre.

I’m going to shift my strategy some this week, with the obvious hope of a better result. Here is my FanDuel lineup for Week 2, and once again it’s a lineup I will be using.

Quarterback: Tom Brady, New England Patriots-$9,200

After a bad Week 1, and with extra time to prepare, I’m betting on Brady to rebound nicely in Week 2. It also just so happens he gets a very favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints, who allowed 346 yards and three touchdowns to Sam Bradford in Week 1. As we know I had Bradford in this space last week, with a matchup against the Saints coming, and he produced.

With two feeble-looking defenses taking the field in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon, we’re looking at the prospect of a very high-scoring game. I’m paying up for Brady in that situation, as he erases Week 1 from memory in an easy matchup.
