Will NFL RedZone be free for fans in Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season?

NFL RedZone is extremely popular amongst fans. It’s a channel that gives lives updates and tunes into games that should have scores. Also, RedZone shows every touchdown and gives excellent updates for close games. It’s usually a paid service, but sometimes it is given for free. Since 2009, RedZone, owned by NFL Network, has provided simulcasts for all games, giving all the highlights.

In Week 1, fans got a huge treat, as RedZone was free for everyone. Unfortunately, it wasn’t perfect because the games weren’t that exciting on Sunday. Still, it provided a great service and fans were surely happy they could keep up with all the action for free. Best of all, RedZone, as always, was commercial free.

While it was free in Week 1, the channel will no longer be free. That means in Week 2, you’ll have to pay for a subscription in order to get RedZone. It’s definitely worth the cost, as you can keep up with all the Sunday action. Contact your cable or dish provider for more information on how to order it.

Week 2 should see more exciting action than Week 1. Virtually no NFL team looked good in Week 1. The Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings were the only teams that didn’t look sketchy. However, now that teams are getting the rust out of the system, expect much more clean football.

Some of the best Week 2 games will include the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Minnesota Vikings, the New Orleans Saints getting their home opener against the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers taking on the Atlanta Falcons in their latter’s first game in their new stadium. Also, keep an eye on the game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. It’s a great rivalry and both teams will be fired up.
