Derrick Nnadi

DT, Florida State

Life is always a lot bigger than football. Thanks to the recent devastating hurricane that swept through Florida, the game between the Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes was postponed among other sports across the state.

With the devastation that has taken over the southern part of the state and elsewhere, there was just no way that a game between the two programs was going to be feasible this week. They will make it up against each other on October 7.

Therefore, Derrick Nnadi certainly isn’t going to see a a drop or a rise this week. Thus far on the season, the Seminoles have only played one game. It was the tough opening week loss to Alabama and they are probably itching to get back on the field.

For Nnadi, he certainly is as one of the top defensive line prospects heading into next year’s draft. With plenty of other talent having played multiple games by this point, a player with the drive of Nnadi certainly wants to be out there with his team competing.

The good news is that he will get his chance to take the field again next week, when they begin their conference portion of the schedule at home against N.C. State. Expect the team to come out with plenty of energy after having a couple of weeks off.
